For Candace, creating her company took a leap of courage, but it all became worth it when she was able to see her business bloom. She started her company during COVID-19 because her other company had many of its events canceled and she wanted to continue in the event planning business.
Thus, Candace created The Posh Picnic, a memorable and Instagrammable way for people to celebrate their special occasions on a smaller and intimate scale.
She has been able to use her previous experience to be able to create warm and feminine looks as well as bold and modern looks. She is inspired by other business owners such as Kendra Scott and Gabriella's in Austin, TX.
Being a single mom of two, she is constantly kept busy, but she is grateful to have a job that allows her to have the time and energy for her business as well as spend time making memories with her children. She is excited to continue expanding her business and even has future plans to open up a mentorship program.
I am a sucker for surprises! Seeing the amazed look on peoples' faces when they walk up to their beautifully styled picnic makes my heart light up with joy and excitement! We get to be a part of so many incredible and special moments from proposals, to birthday dinners, bridal showers, and even weddings!
The Posh Picnic and West Tenth are doing a giveaway! The lucky winner will receive a picnic set-up in Austin, TX.
